Nintendo released its fourth update for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom earlier this week, and as usual, a number of issues have been fixed to “enhance the gameplay experience.”
While Nintendo didn’t go into detail about these additional improvements, it was quickly revealed Version 1.2.0 no longer supports certain item duplication glitches. Yes, to cut to the chase, Nintendo is still waging a war on fake bugs.
Not only is there proof of this via multiplayer accounts, they exist also numerous reports confirming that certain issues no longer work
As published by sites like Eurogamer, problems like “frozen meat” and “Tobio’s Hollow Chasm” no longer work, but some newer problems balance it out. One, in particular, allows players to “easily win a million rupees in just a few minutes.”
So, despite Nintendo’s efforts to reduce bugs in the new Zelda game, it seems the community is still discovering all kinds of methods to keep duplicating the items in Link’s inventory – from memory bugs to jumping tricks and various other tricks. Players can also disable automatic updates for Tears of the Kingdom to continue using older versions of the game.
