AMD and Oxide Games are joining forces to drive the graphics of cloud games

AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) and Oxide Games have announced a multi-year joint venture to develop graphic technologies in the growing cloud gaming market. By integrating AMD's leadership in game design and analytics with Oxide's proven development capability and Nitrous game engine, companies are planning to create a package of tools and technology that is streamlined, Zero to meet the real-time needs of cloud-based games.

"At AMD, we're proud of our ability to push the limits of what technology can do, thus enhancing the game experience," he said. Scott Herkelman, Associate Vice President and General Manager, AMD Photo Business Unit. "Oxide shares this approach and is an ideal partner for us as we expand the way users play, while delivering the quality of the experience they want."
