It could soon be much easier to transfer iPhone to Android, if a recent overview on Android 16 is something to pass.
Android Authority plunged into the Android 16 QPR1 Beta 1 code and revealed interesting mentions in the Sim Manager application.
The latest construction of Sim Manager seems to reference the next overhaul of the Apple operating system, iOS 19, suggesting that you will soon be able to transfer an iPhone wireless ESIM to a new Android phone.

How will ESIM transfer work
It seems that iOS 19 will add a new transfer to the Android page to the Settings menu. Currently, all you can do here is to choose to transfer an ESIM to another iPhone, but it seems that you will have the opportunity to cross the large division of the mobile operating system at the idea of launching iOS 19 at the end of the year.
The report speculates that this could work using QR codes, which is how ESIM transfer is currently working between Android phones.
This can only be a secondary option for the process, however, with the ESIM rapid ESIM of Apple likely to be preferred.
With WWDC 2025 which should take place on June 9, where iOS 19 is likely to be strongly appeared, it would be logical that such a multiplatform functionality would be almost ready to be online. Android 16, on the other hand, should arrive much earlier than usual.
The passage between iPhone and Android is no longer the laborious process that it was before. This last provision ESIM will only facilitate the task.
