Asus should disrupt the game phone market with the ROG Phone 9 Fe, an affordable alternative to its flagship series Rog Phone 9.
This decision could aim to challenge the Nubia Redagic, which has been offering high -performance game phones at competitive prices for some time now.
While ASUS has not yet officially announced anything, the leaks revealed its expected design and its key specifications, before a launch planned at some point in 2025.
The ROG 9 phone does not seem to skimp on the features, despite its expected lower price. According to 91mobiles, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, as well as 16 GB of RAM LPDDR5X and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage, making it a powerful option for mobile players with a budget.
It is also said that this has a complete AMOLED screen of 6.78 inch HD + LTPO with a cooling rate of 165 Hz (increasing at 185 Hz in Game Genie mode) and a brightness of 2,500 nits. The addition of air orders could further improve the game experience.
The camera configuration would include a Sony IMX890 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an ultrairs 13MP lens, a 5MP macro and a 32MP selfie shooter. Elsewhere, the phone will supposedly include a 5,500 mAh battery with a quick load of 65 W and a wireless charging support.
By looking at the renderings, the design remains similar to the ROG Phone 9 Pro and standard ROG Phone 9 lighthouse, with a Phantom Black variant and an IP68 note for sustainability. Elsewhere, the phone had two stereo speakers, high resolution audio, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 7 and a fingerprint sensor in the game.
Asus' decision to launch a more economical game phone is a welcome decision, especially for players who want high -level performance without breaking the bank.
Although we do not know how much it could cost at this stage, looking at the starting price of £ 579 / $ 649 from the Redmagic 10 Pro, we can expect similar or even lower prices.
However, if it can really compete with the established domination of Redmagic in the affordable game phone segment remains to be seen.
If asus the price aggressively, the ROG 9 FE phone could change the situation for mobile players worldwide. Tho
