When we contract an Internet connection, the operator never gives us the option to choose between different router models. In addition, this does not allow us to choose where the installation will be carried out, installation which is generally always done at the point closest to the street, where the optical fiber passes.
Many users, due to the low benefits routers installed by operators, they are obliged to acquire a new one, especially if one of the main uses that will be given to it is linked to the video gameswhether connected via network cable or wireless.
These types of routers are designed to offer the minimum latencysomething fundamental in online multiplayer games. If, to this type of routers, we also add Artificial Intelligence, the result is the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AIthe first gaming router with artificial intelligence.
ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE1900AI, the first gaming router with AI
When we talk about the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE1900AI router, we are talking about the world's first router designed for video games that integrates artificial intelligence that integrates a neural processing unit (NPU) to perform AI tasks locally.
Inside, we also find a Processor with 4 cores and an MPU that work with the NPU to significantly increase processing power locally, reduce power consumption and provide greater privacy for users.
It has software with which we can configure any function we need and which is supported by AI to learn based on its use and thus offer greater or lesser performance depending on the needs of every moment, which allows, when not in use, to reduce energy. consumption up to 46%.
According to ASUS, with this new router, users benefit from unparalleled performance thanks to the game acceleration based on AI available in this model, where we can also find functions such as ROG AI Game Booster Yes Adaptive QoS 2.0 which are responsible for reducing latency by up to 34%, reducing lag to a minimum and which are compatible with more than 3,000 titles.
This new router with AI from ASUS, although it is designed specifically for video games, is also a perfect complement for any home since, in addition to the aforementioned functions, it also incorporates a function that blocks the tracking of websites that we visit as well as advertisements, includes a unified management system for all connected devices and a signal interference detector, among others.
