Apple introduced its high-end smartwatch in the form of the Apple Watch Ultra in 2022 and followed it with the Apple Watch Ultra 2 a year later.
They’re bigger (with a 49mm case) and bolder than the classic Apple Watch, designed for extreme sports and enthusiasts. These are still two of the best smartwatches money can buy.
With a larger, brighter screen, it’s easier to see and use in direct sunlight or underwater. Built-in cellular connectivity, it’s clear that Ultra watches are built for the outdoors.
There’s only one case color, Titanium, but as usual a range of straps are available includ ing Alpine Loop, Trail Loop and Ocean Band.
