Atresplayer Premium is the streaming content platform for channels like Antenatres or LaSexta. In Atresplayer PREMIUM you will find popular series such as Veneno, La Valla or By Ana Milan.
The truth is that Atresplayer has managed to add the right series titles to its platform and this will not change in 2022. Its popularity has increased with the arrival of Veneno, a series that has swept Europe for its audiovisual quality and for the wonderful story it tells
If you want to know more, keep reading. We have invested time in analyzing the catalog of the Atresplayer PREMIUM series in order to tell you which are our favorite series.

Veneno is one of the best series you can see this year. Produced by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, the series tells the story of Cristina Ortiz, also known as La Veneno.
The narrative of the series, jumping from past to present, the aesthetics, the performances of the different actresses who bring Cristina to life and the message that the story tries to convey, make Veneno a sublime series.
Cristina Ortiz was a trans woman who didn’t have an easy life. She left her city and her family at a very young age, ended up working as a prostitute in Madrid, became a television star, went to prison. Cristina was what she wanted to be without being afraid of a society that still didn’t understand what it meant to be trans.
This romantic comedy tells us the story of two adults who have one thing in common: finding someone to accompany them in their lives.
However, these two adults still do not know each other and have totally different ways of seeing and apprehending life. It’s a nimble, fun, and very easy-to-watch series.
If you like series based on dystopias, La Valla is your series. It places us in a Europe of the year 2045 very different from the one we know. Yet you will come to wonder: Could the world ever be like this?
Wars, scarcity of natural resources, dictatorships… a repressed society lacking freedom. Madrid is divided into two areas: Sector 1, where a wealthy and luxurious privileged few of all kinds live, and Sector 2, where the vast majority of the population lives in poverty. A huge fence separates the two sectors.
In the series we see faces as well known as Olivia Molina, Ángela Molina or Unax Ugalde acting. A series that captivates and stimulates reflection.
Atresplayer PREMIUM also offers comedy (they weren’t all going to be dramas). So if you’re looking for an entertaining and fun story, Down There might be the series you’re looking for.
The series tells the story of Iñaki, a 35-year-old boy from the Basque Country who still lives with his mother and has never left his native country. Her mother, authoritarian and very dominant, continues to see her “child” as a dependent person, incapable of living alone.
Everything changes when Iñaki and his mother have to go to Seville. An accident forces his mother to be hospitalized. There, Iñaki will meet Carmen and his life will never be the same again. After all, it’s not so bad “over there” either.
This Atresmedia Televisión production, in which we see renowned actresses such as Natalia Verbeke or Cristina Plazas, tells two stories that take place in two different eras (past and present) that are linked to each other.
The present story is based on an investigation: a car accident following which Daniel, a young man from a wealthy family, is hospitalized in emergency. Daniel’s mother and wife are calling everyone they know to report what happened.
The story of the past will emerge when they discover that in this car was a woman that no one knows who disappeared without a trace before the accident. The past will tell a story of forbidden love, betrayal and heartbreak that has a lot to do with the horrific accident.
Although it hasn’t been released yet, we can’t wait to see this Atresmedia production based on the life of the charismatic Ana Milan. After becoming very popular on social networks thanks to videos in which she tells funny anecdotes about her life, the By Ana Milan series has arrived.
This series will mix fiction and reality to tell us the story of an Ana who is about to get married and who has just landed a leading role in a film. However, everything will take an unexpected turn: there will be no wedding, no movie.
To Love Is Forever is the sequel to the famous telenovela To Love in Troubled Times. Like any soap opera, it will evolve between passions, loves, betrayals and a lot of drama.
The story takes place in a Europe of the 1960s, we will be able to understand this desire that the society of the time had to begin to open up to the world, a desire repressed by the restrictions of the dictatorship of the time.
It is important that you understand this series as a soap opera. It’ll be slower than a series, but it can become that desktop soap opera that’s always been so popular.
After the success of “Allí Abajo”, comes the Benidorm series, from the same creators. In Benidorm we will also talk about the story of a young Basque. However, this time, the protagonist has just learned that he will die in less than three months.
It will be then that he will decide to live the last days of his life in another way, for this he will move to Benidorm, with the aim of reuniting with his childhood love: María Miranda.
Upon arriving in Benidorm, our protagonist will meet Tony in a bar, to whom he will tell him that he has saved three million dollars. Tony will devise a plan with his girlfriend Candy, who will pose as María Miranda in order to get the millions.
Alfonso is a veterinarian who works on the certification of animals in a slaughterhouse in Torrecillas. Everything will take an unexpected turn when he realizes that one of the animals in the slaughterhouse is carrying drugs inside.
A thriller with dark humor that will keep you in suspense during its ten episodes.
Is it worth paying for Atresplayer PREMIUM?
In my personal opinion, the answer is clear: yes. Although the catalog of series is not as wide as that of Netfix or HBO, the platform offers titles as incredible as Veneno or La Valla (two of my favorite series of all time).
The Atresplayer series are produced by the same platform, so they are Spanish series. You will see in almost all familiar faces of Spanish television like Olivia Molina, Anabel Alonso or Ester Expósito.
On the other hand, its price is very competitive compared to the other platforms I mentioned, costing less than half of what Netflix or HBO costs.
For Atresplayer PREMIUM, you’ll pay $2.99 per month if you decide to pay monthly, or $29.99 if you prefer to pay for an entire year, saving you two months of subscription. You also have a trial period to test the platform for free.
To note: We may receive a small commission for each purchase made through links on our site, but this will not cost you anything. It also does not affect our editorial independence. More information.
