The next Marvel film has big shoes to fill. On the one hand, Captain America: Brave New World is the first MCU entry from the Hit Smash, Deadpool and Wolverine. On the other, it is the first autonomous film for Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), which has become the new Captain America.
As you may remember, Avengers: Endgame concluded phase four of the MCU. In the end (spoilers!), Steve Rogers, alias Captain America, decided to end his superhero career. Convinced that the world needed such a figure, he gave his shield and his alias to Sam Wilson, previously known as Falcon.
In Brave New World, Sam tries to meet expectations as a new cap – because he does not have the superpowers of Steve Rogers, he must count on his mind, his combination of vibranium and his shield. After the American presidential election, a terrorist attack occurs in the United States. The newly elected president, Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford), chooses Sam to investigate the case.
The new CAP adventures are better seen in the cinema – but if you are curious when the last episode of the MCU can arrive on the media at home, continue to read our article.
