And it is precisely this glue one that can spell disaster if you’re not careful when putting the rug in the washing machine.
For this reason, the only precaution you need to consider when putting the rug in the washing machine is to select a cold wash program, always at 30ºC or less, because when this temperature is exceeded, the glue softens and the fabric detaches from the rubber, leaving the mat in all probability unusable. Depending on the thickness of the carpet, the drying time may take longer or less, but in general it will take a little longer than normal clothes because they tend to be relatively thick. In any case, another recommendation that we are going to give you is that do not let it dry in the sunas it could lose some of its coloring and even in extreme heat it could also soften the glue.
