There is a lot of excitement around the OnePlus 13T, but I have bad news.
Last week, I wrote about how I hoped that this Rival Pixel 9a would get a launch of the United Kingdom and the United States, but I feared that the mid-range Android phone is not allowed to spread its wings.
Now, I have a not so positive update on this subject. I contacted OnePlus to obtain clarifications on the situation, especially as to whether the 13T would be launched outside China, where it was revealed.
OnePlus said: “Currently, we do not intend to launch the OnePlus 13 in Europe. That said, we have noted the interest in the product of our European users, and we will keep in mind that we make the decisions to launch products in the future.”
To explain, the declaration mentions another handset, the 13S and not the 13T. Well, it seems to be exactly the same phone, but for the Indian market, so I guess we are talking about the same device effectively.
I asked OnePlus more information, including American plans, but I haven't heard yet.
The second half leaves the metaphorical carrot hanging, in particular as the use of “Europe” in this type of context often includes the United Kingdom. And perhaps journalists who hold interest will also arouse internal discussions.
OnePlus
As I wrote last week, the 13T (which would have been called the 13 Mini) could be the best mid -range phone in 2025, starting with its attractive design. It is as if the Pixel 9a and the iPhone 16th (both fairly ugly in my opinion) met and made something beautiful.
He also has impressive specifications, with a huge 6260mah battery, thanks to silicon-carbon technology.
OnePlus also equipped it with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 elite processor at the flagship level, two 50 MP rear cameras and a quick fast load of 80W.
If the price is correct – it is 3,399 CNY in China, which converts to around £ 349 or $ 465 – then this could be a success with direct elimination.
I will update you if and when OnePlus provides further information.
