Fujifilm’s X100 series of cameras are all the rage right now thanks to their popularity on TikTok and the newest model is so rare you’ll have a hard time buying one, but we know how you can give it a try.
The limited edition Fujifilm X100VI is on the way, but the Japanese company says that “due to unprecedented demand” it will be sold by special vote. In the UK there are only 110 cameras available, compared to 300 in the US, but without a voting system.
That’s a small percentage of the 1,934 devices manufactured worldwide and about one camera for every 100 million people in the United States. It is after all a limited edition and will arrive in the UK on April 6 as part of Fujifilm’s 90th anniversary.
Each of the X100VI Limited Editions will be individually numbered and feature an engraving of the original Fujifilm logo from 1934. It will be presented in a special box with a strap, soft release button and historical cards.
The price? £1,934 in the UK or $1,999.95 in the US, where it goes on sale March 21 starting at 100 units.

There’s no doubt that long-time and new Fujifilm fans will be foaming at the mouth over this new model and the vote means everyone has a fair chance at purchasing one.
Moreover, the ballot will be open on March 25 at 8 a.m. for 48 hours. If you would like to participate, make sure you are signed up to the Fujifilm UK mailing list in advance.
You will then receive a link by email on March 25 with voting details. Those lucky enough to be notified will be notified on April 2 and invited to purchase the X100VI Limited Edition in person at the company’s House of Photography in Covent Garden, London, on April 6.
If you are chosen, you will have 24 hours from notification to confirm your purchase request, so keep a close eye on your inbox on April 2.

Payment will be made the same day and ballot winners will be required to provide identification and proof of address. There appears to be no alternative for anyone who cannot travel to London to purchase the camera in person.
Theo Georghiades, Managing Director of Fujifilm UK, said: “The interest in this camera has been extraordinary – probably the most coveted model we have ever launched. » adding that “we believe this is the most appropriate way to ensure that UK customers will have a fair opportunity to own this very special limited model.”
