Earlier this year, Samsung introduced Galaxy AI with the launch of the Galaxy S24 series, before adding its features to many older devices.
The Korean company announced that it will integrate Galaxy AI into Galaxy Watch smartwatches, improving its popular health features.
By combining on-device AI with the expansive Samsung Health app, Samsung hopes to create some of the most personalized and secure health experiences we’ve seen on a wearable.

New features such as Energy Score will offer comprehensive analyzes of personal health metrics, including sleep patterns and heart rate variability, to better prepare users for their day.
Additionally, improved algorithms and tracking tools are expected to improve the accuracy of health metrics, with improved sleep AI algorithms providing detailed insights into sleep quality, including movement, sleep latency, heart rate and respiratory rate.
Elsewhere, new fitness features aim to deliver more precise training, with metrics such as aerobic threshold (AT) and anaerobic threshold (AnT) heart rate zones for runners, and functional threshold power measurements (FTP) for cyclists.
Which Samsung watches will benefit from Galaxy AI?
Samsung says these new features will be available on the upcoming Galaxy Watch line through One UI 6 Watch, which is expected to be released later this year. So it’s safe to assume that the upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 will have access to Galaxy AI on its launch day.
As for older models, at this point Samsung has not officially announced which Galaxy Watches will receive this update.
However, we hope that everyone who is currently using One UI 5 Watch will receive it:
Rumor has it that the Galaxy Watch FE may not benefit from Galaxy AI, as it will likely be a cheaper and less feature-rich device.
