We now know when the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone will be officially launched, as well as some additional details on its three cameras.
The reliable leak Evan Blass (alias @evleaks) has published an interesting image to X, which seems to be an official teaser of Samsung Italy for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. It shows a misty and heavily stylized smartphone, with the “Beyond Slim” accompanying words.
The real gain is the date, which suggests (in Italian) that Samsung will finally organize an event to launch his phone on May 13, 2025. It is within fifteen days.
As for the deployment of the telephone in stores, previous Korea reports suggest the availability of May 23 in China and South Korea, the rest of the globe according to May 30.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Selfie Cam
In separate news, we now have more solid information on the nature of the camera configuration of the Galaxy S25 Edge.
The Sammyguru website claims to have spotted the details of the three cameras of the Galaxy S25 Edge on an unrecognized regulatory website. These websites are always the last stop before an official unveiling, so it's quite plausible.
The first is the detail that the Galaxy S25 Edge will perform a 12MP selfie camera. Judging by this specification, and the fact that this uses a 1/3.2 inch sensor, it seems to be exactly the same selfie camera as the rest of the Samsung Galaxy S25 range.

Samsung Galaxy S25 EDGE Main Camera Spec Spec
The same source also identified the wide and ultra-large cameras of the Galaxy S25 EDGE on this regulatory data basis. It indicates a main camera of 200 MP 1/3 inch, which is very similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra for us.
This should at least partially compensate for the absence of a dedicated telephoto lens. Presumably, there will be enough pixels to create respectable 2x and 3x criminal shots.
The other camera will be an ultra-large 12MP 1 / 2.55 inch, which is like the same component as the ordinary Samsung Galaxy S25.
Overall, it looks like a hybrid device somewhat, taking components through the S25 range and installing them in a super skinny body (and possibly hardened).
