Many of us know the most with Google Assistant thanks to its inclusion on the intelligent speakers of the company, but the humble assistant has been a key element of each Android phone and tablet since 2016. Now, its time is coming to an end.
Google has announced that Google Assistant will be replaced by Gemini, his new generation AI assistant, in all devices except the most basic.
Google Assistant may have revolutionized vocal assistants, but today it seems almost … outdated. Gemini, on the other hand, are more advanced, personal and intuitive.
Google says that millions of users have already switched to Gemini, and in the coming months, the remaining users will be upgraded automatically, the former assistant disappearing from Google Play Store and most Android devices by the end of the year.
Google has not specified an exact date or period for change, only saying that it will take place “in the coming months”.

It is not only a right passage from Google Assistant to Gemini: the new AI tool brings with it many new features.
Like the assistant, Gemini supports daily tasks such as playing music and establishing timers, but he also introduces features fueled by AI such as Gemini Live for dynamic conversations, and in -depth research for more in -depth assistance. In addition, it can recall past cats to offer more relevant answers, search for your search history and you can even access it from your lock screen.
Google Assistant had an excellent race, but now it's Gemini's turn to direct. Let's just hope that Gemini can trust our data.
