At the Stadia Connect event, recently held online, Google unveiled 11 new titles included in the Stadia catalog and has not been played on its platform since May. In addition, it can be added Battlefields (Player) for free, even though there are users who only pay for the platform registration.
11 new Google Stadia games
There are 12 when we count PUBG, but since this will be free for Pro platform members we don't count among the new titles added by Google. Below you can see a list of games that will be available in Stadia starting in May:
- Conclusion 2
- Examination Test
- Spitlings
- Zombie Army 4
- GRID
- GYLT
- SteamWorld Demand: Gilgamech's Hand
- Steamworld heist
- SteamWorld Dig 2
- Stacks in stores (stores)
- Sam's Worst Collection
The games have been added to the Stadia catalog from the month of May, at which time they will be available. In addition, Google has also announced that EA is joining a platform with titles like Start the Jedi Wars: The Fallen Order It will be arriving from the fall along with others like Madden NFL and even the famous FIFA, though they have not said it will be FIFA 20 or just next year's version.
PUBG is the head
Google made good use of the opportunity to pull that PUBG had been available on PC to showcase it as the headliner on its Stadia platform. It is true that the title no longer has as many players as it once did (we can say on PC its time has already passed), but now that they offer it to Stadia it can be an inspiration to young and old players who want to come back.
This "Pioneer Edition" of PUBG will be free to members with Google Stadia Pro registration, but other members will be able to play with the paid version 39.99 euros, the price seems to be quite high especially considering that the game on Steam costs 29.99 euros without a contract (there have been 10 euros).
Of course, as you know, one of the benefits of Stadia is that you can play on or from your office PC browser, without the need to buy a dedicated gaming PC (though of course Technical requirements of PUBG not that they are too high).
In any case, positioning PUBG as the head of 12 new games that will be available in a few days on Stadia seems, in part, a strategy to replicate this game that is not in its best shape depending on the user's demise. What do you think? Do you think its inclusion in the Google Stadia line will work to update it?
