Google has disclosed details for its own new expressive design language of new material.
The software giant will organize its next Big Big Google I / O 2025 event later this month, where a new audacious expressive user interface 3 will be unveiled on Android 16.
However, although Google was not opposed to the publication of some advice on his new design language, he probably did not intend to go as far as he did.
Big Material 3 from Google 3 Expressive leakage
Google seems to have published a blog article detailing its equipment 3 expressive user interface by mistake. We know it was a mistake, because it quickly pulled the post.
Of course, nothing escapes the advice of the Internet, and a version of the blog post was kept for our quiet reading. 9TO5GOOGLE also managed to grasp the images that accompanied this initial post (see below).
The message enters in -depth research behind the expressive user interface of Google equipment 3, which apparently started with a simple survey of a trainee in 2022:
“Why were all these applications so similar? So boring? Wasn't there room to compose the feeling?”.
Google then published its path to expressive equipment 3, using 46 separate research studies and more than 18,000 participants, using measures such as eye monitoring, experiences and good old discussion groups.

What to expect expressive equipment 3
Google calls the system resulting “both beautiful and very usable”, and it is built around the objective of common sense to “bring out the key actions and regroup as elements”.
Seizing this point on feeling, Google has chosen to “go beyond existing standards for the size of the TAP target, the contrast of colors and other important aspects which can make interfaces easier to use for all people”.
A central component is a new floating toolbar at the bottom of Google applications, which seems to sit above the rest of the application rather than below. Again, it seems to be at the service of the clearly highlighting of the key user user interface.
Another example of expressive 3 equipment in action is the new Gmail application, which now has a much larger and more important shipment button, which is now located just above the keyboard.
Essentially, Google seems to have created its latest design language of the user interface thanks to a meticulous process to ask people what they think. It seems incredibly simple, but the results promise to be intriguing.
