These are complicated times for the video game industry. GTA VI He was delayed and made him announce the official release date when he did not exist. SO RockstarIn a way, he was able to announce the “delay of a game without date of sale”. An important step that could live up to a metaphysical and philosophical challenge because the question arises alone: can something that have no defined day be delayed to sell in stores? The Americans reached the square of the circle.
Yes, on May 1, we practically started with the news that GTA VI He is delayed, which will be on sale on May 26, 2026, but did anyone know when he was going to arrive in 2025? It is true that in one of their rare trailers, they had abandoned the year, so stupid, but few others. So, technically, there was no final release date. But he gave the same thing. Rockstar He behaved like Gandalf by saying practically “a magician never arrived late, Frodon Bolsón, or soon. It happens exactly when proposed.
No news from GTA VI but launch in 2026
It is surely the frustration and the years of seeing how companies take us for fools who write these lines, but what Rockstar announcing an release date (the first officer, let's not forget) just in the message where he declares that he delays, it is something that we had never seen for a title which is practically a AAAA. Above, he did it after having had the end of 2023 to bread and water and without revealing anything on the game. But when we say anything is nothing.
Certainly this GTA VI be the biggest launch that video games have seen in their history and threshing Be overwhelmed because of all those who want to play. But Rockstar He makes a ridiculous sidereal with the way he manages everything he does around him. We, who have always told you about the publication book which always applies and which is exemplary, in this case, it begins to resemble that of a newly arrived study which does not know how to manage the communication channels at its disposal.
We are really in an incredible 2025. Nintendo Medium presentation in January a new generation with a video of a few minutes, to silence rumors, and GTA VI Not to mention anything (now) a year of launch. It is discouraging to know how, in the latter case, Rockstar He takes us by idiots when he announced in May the delay when we all thought there were months to be able to play it. It is also true that so much silence for 2024 and what we had of 2025 did not predict anything well. And this news appeared (which became true) in September of last year (September !!) which already indicated a delay until the middle of -2026.
So yes, it looks like Rockstar I knew for eight months that GTA VI He was not going to be launched in 2025 or in the best of his dreams and left the threshing Knowing that we are crazy. So yes, he manipulated, cheated, nauseating and none as if we were children who were to hide bad news. And if we have opted for this explanation, we do it because the other is even worse and leaves the creators of the game at the foot of the horses. As long as the time came, we are so anxious that we only publish 100 or 120 dollars to have it.
And, the truth, we are already fed up that these guys are so seen to duster and in addition, it seems that they are only interested in their own.
