Honor should continue its thrust on the flagship phone market with the long -awaited Magic 8 series.
After the success of the Magic 7 range, the next Magic 8 series should provide important upgrades in design, performance and battery technology.
While official details remain rare, industry speculation and past trends give an overview of what we can expect from the Honor Magic 8 series.
When will the Honor Magic 8 series come out?
Given the release model of the previous models, it is likely that the Magic 8 series will make its debut in China first, followed by a global launch.
The Magic 7 and Magic 7 Pro were officially launched in October 2024, with the world availability starting with the Magic 7 Lite in January 2025.
If Honor follows a similar chronology, the Magic 8 series could be announced around October or November 2025with international availability starting with early 2026.
However, the official details remain rare, so these are speculative deadlines based on past launches.

As usual, we expect to see four models: standard, Lite, Pro and Ultimate. However, we could also see the Magic 8 RSR Porsche design.
In addition, according to a Chinese flight digital cat station (via the notebook check), Honor is also working on a new compact flagship product this time, potentially named Magic 8 Mini Pro.
Here is when the previous generations were launched in Europe:
However, it is not clear if the ordinary magic 8 will arrive in Europe, because the Magic 6 and the Magic 7 are not available to date.
In addition, do not expect one of these phones to be available in North America – Honor does not sell its devices.
How much will the Honor Magic 8 series cost?
The price of the Magic 8 series is not confirmed, but we can make educated predictions based on the previous generation.
The Magic 7 Pro was launched at £ 1,099.99 in the United Kingdom, while the RSR Porsche edition was at a price of $ 1,799 (around £ 1,514.61).
Given the outcome of honor for premium flagship devices, it is reasonable to expect the Magic 8 Pro to be evaluated in the same way or slightly higher, potentially reaching £ 1,200 for the basic model.

The Magic 8 Standard could be closer to £ 900 to 1,000, while any Porsche design variant would probably exceed £ 1,500.
If the Magic 8 Pro Mini model is real, it could offer a more affordable alternative, perhaps less than £ 900.
What specifications and features will the Honor Magic 8 series have?
Design
The honor should continue its premium design approach with the Magic 8 series, incorporating high quality materials and an elegant aesthetic.
The company has pushed ultra-thin and light conceptions, especially in its foldable range, and we could see other refinements in the Magic 8 Pro and Ultimate models.

The introduction of a Magic 8 Pro Mini could indicate a more compact design, addressing users who prefer small smartphones without compromising flagship performance.
Display
The Magic 7 Pro included an AMOLED LTPO screen 6.8 inch with a 120 Hz refreshment rate and a brightness of 5,000 nits.
Given this, the Magic 8 series is likely to maintain or even improve these specifications.

If a Magic 8 Pro Mini Lance, it could have a more compact screen in the 6.3 inch range, making it a unique offer on the flagship telephone market.
Performance
According to laptop checks, the honor is strongly tilted to equip all the flagship models of the Magic 8 series with the Elite Snapdragon 8 processor. This would place it among the most powerful Android phones of 2025.
However, given the expected release date, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 can already be available. If Honor decides to use the same chipset for the second consecutive time, he could delay the competition.

Associated with up to 16 GB of RAM and storage configurations reaching 1 TB, the Magic 8 series should offer high level performance.
AI improvements through AI through Magicos 9.0 in Honor (or its successor in 2025) could also optimize energy efficiency, game performance and multitasking capacities.
Cameras
Honor has invested a lot in camera technology, and the Magic 8 series should continue this trend.
The Magic 7 Pro included a 50 MP main camera with a variable opening, a 200MP Periscope Zoom lens and an ultrairs of 50 MP.

We can expect the honor more to refine these characteristics, potentially introducing a larger sensor to improve low light performance and improved AI treatment.
The front camera system will probably keep its pill -shaped notch with a high -resolution selfie sensor and 3D facial scanning technology for secure facial recognition.
Battery and load
According to Digital Chat Station, Honor would explore ultra-large batteries, some devices in 2025 should include capacities of 7,000 mAh.
If this extends to the Magic 8 series, we could see a significant increase in the battery life compared to previous models.

The fast charge should remain a priority, with wireless load speeds of 100 W and possibly 80 W or more.
Honor can also introduce an improvement in battery efficiency thanks to software optimizations in Magicos.
Software
The Magic 8 series will almost certainly be launched with Magicos 9 or Magicos 10, based on Android 15 or Android 16.
Improved security and longer software support (potentially five years of updates) should be key characteristics of the software experience.
