The Honor Magic V4 promises to be one of the most anticipated foldable smartphones in 2025.
With important rumors suggesting major upgrades in battery capacity, processing power and overall user experience, Magic V4 could change the game on the foldable market.

When will the Honor Magic V4 released?
According to Phone Arena, the device is low to make its debut July 2025 in China. This is aligned with the launching chronology of its predecessor, the Magic V3, which arrived in July of last year.
For international markets, however, Honor can choose to reveal the Magic V4 at IFA 2025 September 2025. Although no official confirmation has been provided, these forecasts are based on past launch models and industry speculation.

How much will the Honor Magic V4 cost?
The Magic V3 was launched at £ 1,699.99 in the United Kingdom and, given its advanced equipment and its foldable shape factor, the Magic V4 will probably be at the price of the same range.
However, with potential improvements in battery capacity, treatment power and other hardware upgrades, a slight increase in prices cannot be excluded.
If Honor manages to continue to priced prices while improving the key characteristics, it could strengthen its position against the foldable rivals to come, such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and OnePlus Open 2.
What specifications and characteristics will Honor Magic V4 have?
Design
The Magic V3 was celebrated as the thinnest foldable book style on the market, just 9.2 mm when it was folded.
The honor will probably aim to keep this thin and light design for the Magic V4, which can make it even thinner to stay ahead of the competitors.
Given that OPPO works on an even thinner foldable with N5 research (probably the Chinese version of the OnePlus Open 2), honor can push the limits of engineering to maintain its advance in this regard.

The materials will probably remain premium, Honor continuing to use its “Super Steel” hinge for sustainability.
The IPX8 water resistance rating of the Magic V3 should also be postponed, although dust resistance can always be a challenge for the best foldable phones.
Display
The honor folders have impressive screens, and the Magic V4 should not be an exception.
It could include a 6.43 -inch OLED LTPO cover screen with a 120 Hz cooling rate, similar to MAGIE V3.

The interior display can also remain an almost square 7.92 inch OLED panel, capable of dynamically adapting between 1 to 20 Hz for better energy efficiency.
Performance
According to the digital chat station, the Magic V4 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the same as the current Magic 7 pro light.
It should provide significant performance gains on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the Magic V3. Honor's commitment to flagship performance means that the device will likely include at least 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.

Cooling improvements will also be essential, as foldable devices may have a hard time sustained high performance workloads due to their compact factor.
Cameras
The Magic V3 included a 50 MP's main sensor, an Optical Zoom Telephoto of 50 MP 3.5x and an ultrairs 40MP sensor.
Although these specifications are impressive, the honor could improve them by introducing a larger sensor for better performance in low light or an improved telephoto objective with an optical zoom of 5x or more.

Selfie cameras will probably remain two 20 MP sensors, one on the cover screen and one on the interior screen, offering solid image quality for video calls and social media content.
Battery and load
According to Chinese Leaker Smart Pikachu, Honor tests a 6,000 mAh battery for the foldable, which would be a massive 5 150 mAh battery jump in the Magic V3.
If it is true, this would give the honor a serious advantage in the endurance of the batteries, by attacking a common weakness of the foldable devices.

The fast load must remain a key feature, with a 66W cable load and a 50W wireless load which should postpone.
Given the increase in battery size, improved load speeds could also be in progress.
Software
The Magic V4 should be launched with Magicos 9, based on Android 15, introducing refinements into multitasking and IA -focused features.
However, Honor has not yet confirmed his long -term software support plans.
