Peacock is the latest streaming service to be hit by price hikes this year. If you want to keep watching all your favorite NBC shows without shelling out more cash, there’s a way.

These prices have just been confirmed for the United States. In the UK, Peacock content is available through the Now streaming service. As far as we know, the prices for this service will remain the same.
How much does Peacock increase?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, monthly subscriptions to Peacock will increase by the following amounts:
- Peacock Premium – Increased from $4.99 per month to $5.99 per month
- Peacock Premium Plus – Increased from $9.99 per month to $11.99 per month
The Peacock website has also confirmed that annual subscriptions will change as follows:
- Peacock Premium – Increased from $49.99 per year to $59.99 per month
- Peacock Premium Plus – Dropping from $99.99 per month to $119.99 per month
Peacock’s free tier ended earlier this year, so you won’t be able to upgrade to that.

Avoid Peacock’s price hike by buying an annual subscription
Peacock will increase its prices on August 17, 2023. So if you want to secure lower prices and avoid paying more in the long run, be sure to buy a Peacock annual subscription before then.
Subscribe to a Peacock Premium annual subscription
If you sign up for the Peacock Premium tier, you’ll save $10. If you upgrade to the Peacock Premium Plus tier, you’ll save $20.
If you upgrade to the more expensive Premium Plus tier, you’ll get ad-free viewing, access to live sports and events, and the option of offline viewing with downloads.
Bundle Peacock with another subscription

Cancel your Peacock subscription
If none of these options work for you, you can cancel your subscription completely. Here are the steps in their simplest form:
- Go to the Peacock website and log in
- Click on your account profile
- Click “Change or Cancel Plan” in Account Settings
- Select Cancel Plan
