Taskmaster will be back on our screens soon, with another cast of celebrities ready to take on a series of bizarre tasks to earn points from judge Greg Davies. All their movements are refereed by Greg’s assistant, little Alex Horne.
The show is a Channel 4 staple, alongside classic series such as The Great British Bake Off. However, new episodes are exclusive to this channel, which is only available in the UK.
If you are on vacation or based elsewhere, this can be inconvenient. Fortunately, we have a workaround.

You don’t have long to wait, because the next season of Taskmaster kicks off on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 9 p.m. BST.

How to watch Taskmasker with a VPN
If you want to watch the latest episodes of Taskmaster, you’ll need a VPN.
A VPN (virtual private network) routes your internet connection through a server. There are many servers around the world, but to watch Taskmaster you will need one based in the UK.
This means the Channel 4 website won’t recognize your location when you sign up for an account – you could be anywhere in the world, but it will still think you’re based in the UK. Therefore, you should be able to create an account without being locked out.
During our tests, NordVPN reliably unblocked the service on several occasions. It’s easy to use and has a range of servers to choose from. Plus, it’s competitively priced, especially if you commit to a multi-year plan (however, there are monthly rolling plans available).

If you’re on a smartphone or tablet, just search for NordVPN in the App Store
Connect to a UK server on the VPN of your choice

On the login page, select “I don’t have an account and I want to register”

Channel 4 requires you to turn off all ad blockers – which includes any optional ad blocking in your VPN – so make sure you do this before you try to watch
If you still can’t connect, try another server within your VPN until you find one that works for you
Note that using a VPN is technically against Channel 4’s Terms of Service, so the platform could terminate your account. Proceed at your own risk.
Where to stream previous seasons of Taskmaster in the US
While US viewers can’t watch new episodes of Taskmaster without the help of a VPN, the first six seasons are available on Pluto TV completely free of charge.
Alternatively, you can purchase all previous seasons from Amazon US, Google Play, and Apple TV.
