A while ago there was talk about how Intel with its Alder Lake was having issues with DRM (Digital Rights Management) and games. Problem that originated from the operation of these on content protected by Denuvo, causing various problems in the executables of the games legitimately purchased by the user. Now Intel informs that there is already a solution to the problem of the DRM with your Core 12.
El problema de Intel con su doceava edición de processors era para que el DRM software correctly detect or recognize los E-Cores, an inconvenience caused mainly by the new architecture of CPU hybrid detectando los núcleos as algo external y provocando así a problem en la ejecución of the same.
Intel solves the DRM problem in the Core 12
denuvo for some reason it has always been in the headlines since its release. There are countless issues it has caused in the performance and smooth running of many games on the vast majority of computers. Fortunately, companies like GIGABYTE at some point, as we’ve come to echo in the past, pulled small fix in executable format to solve compatibility issues relatively easily.
Intel, in the latest article on its support website, states that it has worked with several video game developers and Microsoft to come up with a solution to the problem and fix it.
“Intel has addressed the DRM issue on 12th Gen Intel Core processors causing games to hang or not load on Windows 11 and/or Windows 10 through hard work with game publishers and Microsoft. Currently, all games originally identified as having this DRM issue have been fixed through patches for those games or OS updates.”
Likewise, Microsoft for its part strongly recommended that if we have encountered any problems related to this, it is always good to have your operating system with the latest version, whether it is Windows 10 or Windows 11.
“If you are having issues on an older Windows operating system, run the latest version of Windows Update to resolve the issue. Apart from game fixes, the latest updates for Windows 11 and Windows 10 fixed most DRM issues.
Intel adds that if the problem persists after updating your game and system, please contact them to try to find a solution.
Patches for detected and implicated games, as well as updates to the operating system itself, should be released in the coming weeks and thus finally resolve the problems that players have encountered when trying to run these titles on computers with Alder Lake and its hybrid architecture, leaving in the past the compatibility problems that these latest Intel processors have suffered from since their launch date.
