This year was enormous for robot vacuum cleaners, with new and future models of Dreame, Eureka and Roborock which now climbs on obstacles, targeting water spills and even picking up your socks, all in the name of a more efficient hand cleaning.
You can see our best choices from robot vacuum cleaners that you can buy now in our overview of the best robot vacuum vacations that we have tested.
But ask anyone outside the world of technology to name a type of robot emptiness and the answer will surely be Roomba. This is why it is strange that Irobot, the brand behind Roomba, was visible by its absence during an exceptional period of innovative launches.
And now we know why.
Irobot has prepared for its largest range of robot vacuum cleaners. The four new robot models will be available in pre-order from March 18 in the United States and selected by European countries of Irobot.com.
The price will start at $ 399 /469 for the Simple Romberba 105 combo, which is delivered with an automatic reception station, and goes to $ 799 /999 for the Romberba Plus 505 combo, which is delivered with a Autowash quay which automatically seduces the bin on board, washes and heat dials and self-leaflets at the end of a cycle. The price seems extremely reasonable for what is offered.
Supporting new models will be an updated Romberba Romberba application, which should be easier to use.
Each model will appear:
- Stronger suction
- More precise lidar navigation and fast cartography
- Best cleaning (all comparisons are made against the Romberba 600 series)
- Automatic carpet detection and avoidance
- Detection and avoidance of objects
In addition, the more expensive models will have IOS IOS technology, which will make the robot even more able to identify and avoid obstacles.
There are many features in the new models, in particular the Roomba 505 combo, which has stretchy mop cleaks for edges cleaning. But what we do not see are features that are new on the market. But what matters is the performance of new robots. The price is competitive and everyone likes a roomba, after all.
