There is no denying that Jabra is making a big effort to design audio products that can be used to improve the performance of those who, since the pandemic, have been forced to work from home.
One example is its latest headset designed for work, the Evolve2 30, as well as its recently announced PanaCast product line, a series of smart cameras that aim to improve working conditions remotely.
With this new range of products, Jabra is reasserting itself as a brand keen to cover a growing market niche since the pandemic: that of teleworkers.
What smart cameras has Jabra announced?
At its event, Jabra announced two new products: the Jabra PanaCast 50, a kind of soundbar with a built-in camera designed for meeting rooms, and the Jabra PanaCast 20, a smart camera that you can use at home. to better connect with your office or telecommute with other colleagues.
Jabra PanaCast 50
Jabra defines it as “the first smart video bar ready for the new normal”. At first glance, it looks like a soundbar, but it has a camera in the middle, which allows it a 180-degree field of view in panoramic 4K.
It is perfect for use in work environments, in a meeting room, and thus being able to connect with other colleagues remotely without having to sacrifice audio and sound quality.
We are confident that the audio quality will be good because Jabra is a specialist audio company. It incorporates four stereo speakers without vibrations.
In addition, it carries eight microphones equipped with technology specialized in the detection of human voices. In this way, voices will be identified and residual echo and static noise will be eliminated.
PanaCast 20
Although the video bar fits best in offices, this smart video camera will be perfect for everyone working at home to have one.
It promises premium video quality (4K Ultra-HD) and artificial intelligence technology that will adjust the light to deliver the best picture at all times.
This same artificial intelligence allows you to incorporate features like smart zoom or smart lighting optimization.
Pricing and availability of Jabra PanaCast products
The PanaCast 50 video bar will be available from June 15 and can be purchased in two different colors: black or gray. Its single price is 1065 $.
The PanaCast 20 smart camera will be available from August 1, only in black and will cost $ 267.
