Fortnite, Apex Legends, PUBG, and Call of Duty are some of the most popular daily multiplayer and gamer titles, games that have a large user base. To these well-known and veteran titles, we must add The Finals, a game which, with just over two weeks of marketing, has exceeded 10 million users.
The first beta of The Finals, from Embark Studios founded by former employees of the Battlefield saga, was launched last October and has had a great impact on the community reaching more than 7 million users. For a few weeks this title has been available to the public and it seems that this new bet in shooting titles has been a success, according to what the company says, something quite striking since the launch of Call of Duty is still very recent.
If we take a look at the Steam charts, over the last two weeks, the number of simultaneous players of this title has been 100,000 (with a maximum of 242,399 players), figures that are not bad at all considering the short time it has been on the market, although they are still very far away daily figures of players of CS:GO 2, PUBG or even Fortnite, whose number of simultaneous players each day exceeds 7 figures, reaching 6 million at the launch of the previous season, which restored the original map with which the title Epic Games has been launched into the market.
Now it only depends on the company whether the game continues to be a success and the number of daily users increases. By 2024, it is planned to increase the number of weapons and combat scenarios to keep the game attractive enough so that users do not get tired of continually playing on the same maps and with the same weapons.
In addition, you should also pay special attention to the large number of hackers that can already be found in this title, something that, unfortunately, is quite common in this type of games and that completely spoils the gaming experience. According to the company, they are already working on strengthen anti-cheating measures
The Finals is a multiplayer first-person shooter set in virtual environments where the objective is entertain the masses (similar to the movie Chased, with Arnold Schwarzenegger) while we collect the enemy’s loot. Scenarios can be destroyed and we can use a large number of weapons of all kinds, from flamethrowers to rocket launchers to katanas, rifles, machine guns and much more. In addition, depending on the type of player we select, we will have different skills that we can use in combat.
We can download completely free (like the games mentioned above) for PC, Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5, monetization of which is done via the skins available in the store and via the corresponding battle pass.
