WhatsApp intensifies his game again by introducing the management of events in head-to-face cats.
According to Wabetainfo, functionality, which has so far been limited to cats and group communities, is now making its way to private messages.
With this new addition, WhatsApp users could be able to plan meetings, define reminders and organize personal commitments directly in their cats, eliminating the need for a separate calendar application.
Whether it is a deadline for work with a colleague, a dinner plan with a friend or a simple reminder of calling someone, the functionality should ensure that both parties remain on the same length wave. When an event is created, the recipient simply has the possibility of accepting or refusing.
One of the remarkable features is the possibility of connecting an event to a video or vocal call, further rationalizing communication. If two people have set up a planned call, for example, WhatsApp will ensure that the two are recalled at the right time, which reduces the failed meetings.

This decision seems to be an attempt to compete with Google Calendar, positioning itself as an all-in-one platform for messaging and event planning.
This could be a very attractive option for many, especially in light of recent relationships of phishing scams targeting users of the Google calendar.
However, as with all the features of WhatsApp Beta, it can take weeks or even months before it is available for everyone. At this point, we do not know the exact release date of this update.
According to the estimates, some beta testers using the latest version of WhatsApp from Google Play Store already have access, paving the way to a wider deployment in the future.
This update is the latest of a long range of new features that have been added to the recently application, including the iPhone application obtaining a major free upgrade.
