As we said, Newskill sent us the three different mat sizes, but only the XXL size has a higher height than the others. In any case, you can see them here still rolled up inside the box we found inside the outer packaging, which was soft cardboard.
We start with the L model, which has dimensions of 460 x 400 x 3 mm and which the manufacturer sent us in blue.
As it is the smallest and most manageable model of all that has been sent to us, we will use this one to illustrate its features, starting with the stitched edges. Also here we can see the texture of your Jacquard fabric in the upper part.
In the lower part we find that the entire base is made of natural rubber, which guarantees us not only a good grip on the table, but also excellent durability. In addition, as you can see, this lower area has a geometric frame to further improve the attachment to the table.
Now let’s see the rest of the models; Then we have the XL size model with dimensions 960 x 400 x 3 mm, which is logically an Extended format. In this case, we have this model in white and purple.

How well do these mats perform when things are going well?
The first thing that struck us about these Newskill Artemis was how they stick to the table; between the natural rubber and this network of geometric designs that have been placed on the base, it doesn’t move one iota, it’s a real marvel.
We were also surprised that the surface of the fabric was a little rough to the touch, which, without being unpleasant, is quite different from what we were used to so far. We guess this is the “price” to pay for having greater durability and abrasion resistance than normal, but we also have to tell you that when you use the mat it’s not something that happens. note, because after all you’re not rubbing your fingers for it.
Where you rub the doll a little is on the edge, which fortunately is stitched and is very soft and pleasant. These mats are, remember, 3mm thick, so they provide good padding for the wrists, although as mentioned before, we would have preferred them to be 4mm thick for more comfort… however , it’s a matter of taste. , since the thicker the mouse pad, the more the hand will sink when pressing on it and this will not appeal to everyone, especially those who play with low mouse sensitivity.
In use, the Newskill Artemis proved to be excellent from all points of view, providing us with very good precision and great comfort, which is ultimately what we expect from a PC mouse pad. We would have to see if they are as resistant as the manufacturer claims, although obviously this is not something that we are going to be able to tell you now but rather in a few months of use.
