What is it for?
Personally, I have never adopted the glyph interface in my daily use beyond the test phase. As a person who is fully opposed to screen protectors and who regularly runs his phone in silent or vibrated mode, I never throw my phones on the ground.
This means that I rarely look at the back of my phone, making a notification system mounted on the back developed more or less useless.
With the screen always facing me – as it should be – I can say when I am called through the lighting screen or a vibration sound. When I want to define a timer, I adopt the classic measurement of the use of the preinstalled clock application.
I recognize that these resemble obvious bleeding statements, but it simply serves to illustrate my point. The interface of glyph of nothing has always been a cool gadget in search of a goal, and he never really found it.
