Nothing was quickly revealed as a technology company worthy of taking seriously, offering high quality devices such as phone and wireless headphones at affordable prices with a remarkable design. Now, all eyes are on the phone (3), so here is what we know so far.
The company, led by Carl Pei (formerly OnePlus), was to be watched from the first day and now firmly has the big leagues.
It was a longer wait for the phone (3) than the smartphones market, but it is not a bad thing in our eyes. Speating longer to get a good product is to be applauded and nothing seems ready to face the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Google Pixel 9 this year.

When will the phone (3) be published?

Most phones follow a simple and predictable annual release cycle, so it would not have been surprising that the phone (3) arrived in July 2024.
However, Carl Pei revealed that it would not happen before 2025, declaring that “it is important that we obtain the right product, integrating the equipment and the AI”.
At Google The Android Show: E / S Edition, where he detailed the expressive overhaul of Android 16 equipment, Pei made a special appearance in a window of the device to talk about the phone (3) while showing it in a fuzzy pixelated form.
“The phone (3) arrives this summer, and we are going to everything,” said Pei in the device's window, where he also confirmed the price (more about this in the next section).
Pei had previously answered the question of the phone arrival (3) on X (formerly Twitter), simply declaring “Q3”.
Although the release window is quite vague, there is a good chance that the launch will happen in July.
The phone (1) and the telephone (2) arrived in July 2022 and 2023, respectively, but a popular leak said that the three new phones will not be launched in the first half of 2025.
We already have the phone (3A) (below) and the phone (3a) pro, so maybe the phone (3) was a little delayed.

So far, the main phones of nothing have seen price increases and that will not change for the phone (3).
The prices of previous models during their initial launches were:
- Nothing phone (1): £ 399 / $ 469
- Nothing phone (2): £ 579 / $ 599 / $ 649
From now on, in the window of the Android Show device mentioned in the above section, Carl Pei has confirmed that the price of the phone (3) will be around £ 800 which will convert to around $ 1,000.
“And since you are here, a small early clue on the price, it will land around £ 800,” said Pei.
This means that we are considering an increase in prices of £ 230. Much more than the previous increase of £ 180, which was also much above average.
It is not only a case of minor upgrades, but a great price of increase, because the PEI says that it will have “premium materials, major performance improvements and software that really improve things”.
However, this means that instead of standing out in the mid -range, nothing moves correctly to face Samsung, Google and others on the premium market.

Few things have been disclosed on the design, specifications and features of the phone (3), but we expect things to increase in the coming weeks now, Carl Pei has tackled the aircraft.
For the moment, there is a lot to learn and predict the series (3a).
Design and construction
Previously, the telephone nothing compromised on the quality of construction in order to respond to its price. With the third generation, we hope to see improvements in protection and sustainability.
The adoption of more recent glass technology – perhaps the robust Gorilla Glass Vitus – could further improve the overall quality of the device construction.

Fortunately, the company has promised “premium materials”, although it has not yet provided details on what it means. The titanium could be possible because it is a popular material for rivals like Samsung.
Notable improvement could also be provided to resistance to water and dust of the device.
The IP54 note of the phone (2) is below the most common IP68 note, found on most flagship smartphones. The at least IP68 elevation would bring the phone (3) in accordance with industry standards.

The glyph interface will continue to be a key sales argument (3). Explore innovative uses, such as the creation of a universal standard for wider applications, and collaboration with the main retailers for unique glyph functionalities could continue its unique appeal.
Screen and speakers
We do not expect many modifications to the display on the phone (3) compared to its predecessor.
The phone (2) has a 6.7 -inch OLED panel which can update up to 120 Hz and uses LTPO technology to evolve this cooling rate up to 1 Hz when it is not necessary, to record the battery.
Its weakest attribute is brightness, with an average of 1,000 nigers outdoor panel and maximum brightness of 1,600 nights, do not fail in real use. As such, a brighter panel would be welcome on the phone (3).

Improving sound quality and internal speakers would also contribute to a more satisfactory audio experience, even for those who mainly use Bluetooth headphones.
Nothing can have its own earphones (2), but you don't want to have to use them all the time.
Basic specifications and performance
Despite a powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, we had some concerns about the slowing and cording user experience, in our (2) telephone review.
The Nothing phone (3) could solve this problem by considering an upgrade to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which feeds many flagship products of 2023.
Or it could go completely and opt for the Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 – positioned between the 8 Gen 2 and Gen 3 – which would allow it to compete with the best Android phones in terms of performance.
This higher level mid-level chip has impressive specifications, including a 3 GHz cortex-x4 nucleus, three performance cores at 2.8 GHz and four 2 GHz efficiency cores.
However, with Carl Pei promising “major performance improvements”, we were able to see a Snapdragon 8 flagship elite as well as a 12 GB upgrade, whatever the storage capacity you choose.

Cameras
Upgrading the camera configuration would also be welcome. In particular, nothing could introduce a better primary sensor and solve problems with ultrairs.
Low light performance, color reproduction and reduced shutter shift should also be priorities for the phone (3).
In addition, a telephoto tele -telephotive camera seems almost certain that when you consider the phone (3a) Pro has a 50 Mp shooter with a 3x optical zoom.

Battery and load
The phone (2) has a large 4700mAh battery, with 45 W cable charging support.
It is likely that the phone (3) will receive a similar processing, as it always places it above the highest-end phones like the latest iphones, galaxys and pixels.
Of course, a larger battery is always welcome and should be possible without enlarging the phone if nothing uses silicon carbon technology (sic).
Again, we can turn to the phone (3a) pro for a good idea of the bar for the lighthouse (3), and this phone has a 5000mAh and 50w battery, so it would not make much sense so that it is smaller or slower.

Software
The phone (3) will most likely arrive during Android 15 and nothing is daring.
As the PEI said in June 2024, the telephone (3) will be at the Center for AI efforts in the company. Therefore, we can expect a lot of AI features, even if the details have not yet been revealed.
The internal e-mail disclosed in January 2025 also mentions “revolutionary innovations in the user interface” as part of a “platform supplied by AI”.
