OnePlus is holding a major launch event on February 7 in India where it will unveil its latest phones, the 11 and 11 R, and new headphones, the Buds Pro 2.
Rumors that the company was working on a tablet have now been confirmed by the appearance of the OnePlus Pad on the company’s Indian website.
Its homepage lists a slew of products, including the OnePlus Pad and the OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro, though there’s no mention of the mechanical keyboard the company tweeted a few days ago.
The tablet, unlike a keyboard, makes a lot of sense as an addition to the OnePlus lineup. For a long time, Samsung was one of the only well-known brands making Android tablets, but now there’s a much wider choice.
It’s only been in the last six months that Oppo – the parent company of OnePlus – launched its first Android tablet in Europe. In our review of the Pad Air, we concluded that it was a good choice for anyone on a budget.

While there’s a good chance the OnePlus Pad will borrow from one of Oppo’s other tablets, it doesn’t appear to be based on the Pad Air. Instead, the high-res image on OnePlus’ homepage shows a very thin screen bezel.
Speaking to TechRadar, OnePlus said the Pad has an aluminum body and the color seen in the image is called Halo Green. He also said the center-mounted rear camera is there, rather than in a corner, as it lines up with your own view.
Besides that and some leaked renders, very little is known about the device. The only clue is in the slogan “Smooth without equal” which could refer to a high refresh rate screen. Do whatever you want with it.
News of the Pad first broke in July 2022 when a listing was spied on the EUIPO website. It doesn’t include any details, and certainly no specs. All we know for sure is that this is an Android tablet, and will almost certainly have ColorOS on top.
With only a few days until launch, there’s not too long to wait to see exactly what’s in store.
