Extraordinary’s latest installment did not disappoint fans, delivering plenty of crazy adventures and crude humor. The second season gave way to a musical, a journey into the subconscious, family drama and even a possession.
Emma Moran, the creator of the series, once again took viewers among young people in their twenties who are trying to regain control of their lives. As if adulthood wasn’t already complicated enough, Carrie, Kash, and Jizzlord also had to deal with their superpowers, which became the source of unforeseen accidents.
Jen, meanwhile, continued her journey in search of her powers. As usual, everything went differently than she could have imagined.
But what awaits the gang in season 3? We’ve rounded up everything we know about the future of Extraordinary.
As of now, Disney has not renewed the series for another season.
This may be surprising for two reasons. Firstly, Extraordinary season 2 was announced even before season 1 was released. Additionally, season 2 ended on a cliffhanger, which suggests that the creators were very confident in creating the next installment.
As no renewals have been confirmed, we cannot predict when the next season will release.

In season 2, Jen finally joined the Power Discovery program and tried to find out why she didn’t have superpowers. With psychic counselor George, she tore apart her messy and twisted subconscious, confronting old traumas. Even though the therapy seemed to be working, Jen had to stop it when it turned out she was having an affair with her therapist.
But that wasn’t the only romantic problem for Jen. After it emerged that Jizzlord had a family, Jen engaged in an unhealthy rivalry with his wife, Nora, a seemingly perfect influencer. She managed to win this confrontation – mainly because Nora’s lies were exposed.
Kash and Carrie also faced their own issues. After the breakup, they both tried to get their lives together again, but it seemed like they still felt something for each other. Eventually, Kash began dating Clark, a co-worker. Carrie, for her part, decided to take care of herself and work on her independence. The ex-couple, however, chooses to remain good friends.

The season ended with an unexpected event. While throwing trash into the dump’s void, Kash accidentally pushed Jen into an abyss. The girl found herself in a mysterious world on the other side.
The most crucial part of season 3 will be getting Jen out of where she landed. It probably won’t be easy since Kash couldn’t go back in time to the moment before the accident. Jen may have to find a way to open a portal of her own.
