These laptops feature an advanced cooling system with up to 4 heat pipes and dual 85mm fans that dissipate up to 135W of heat, always keeping the laptop cool and with low noise. Its screens with optional VRR up to 16 inches and 350 nits of maximum brightness with a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz to enjoy the games to the fullest also stand out.
All of these laptops are available with up to 16GB of 5600MHz DDR5 RAM expandable up to 32GB and up to 1TB NVMe SSD (all laptops are expandable as they have two SO-DIMM RAM sockets and two M.2 for SSD). Moreover, he highlights his battery with up to 80Wh supporting Super Rapid Charge Pro for faster charging and longer battery life when you’re on the go. Lenovo Legion Slim laptops, power and agility for gamers
Lenovo also announced the 8th generation of Lenovo Legion Slim laptops, a line of products designed to give gamers the performance they want but in gear that’s relatively comfortable to wear thanks to its thin thickness and light weight. These computers have Windows 11 out of the box and are equipped with a Intel Core i9-13900H oh AMD Ryzen 9 7940HSplus up to 32GB of 5600MHz DDR5 RAM and graphics RTX4070.
These powerful teams are accompanied by excellent WQXGA displays up to 240 Hz with VRR, 500 nits of peak brightness and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. Of course, as we said before, they are equipped with a dedicated AI chip that not only improves their performance, but also allows you to dynamically adjust their performance to dissipate up to 140W of heat with a minimum noise, thus improving the gaming experience.
They also incorporate a 99.99 Wh battery (this figure is the case because it is the maximum allowed to be carried in hand luggage on an airplane) that offers up to 10 hours of autonomy, and has also 140W fast charging via USB-c. According to Lenovo, thanks to its 240W adapter, it is able to charge the full battery in just 80 minutes. For the rest, they include WiFi 7 from MediaTek, Legion TrueStrike mechanical keyboard, RGB lighting, and everything we could ask for in a gaming laptop.
Lenovo Legion Slim 5i and 5, gaming and portability rolled into one
The “little brothers” arrive with the transformers Intel Core i7-13700H oh AMD Ryzen 9 7840HSup to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM (expandable to 64 GB) and RTX4070 in the form of a dedicated graph. Its screen is also 16 inches with WQXGA resolution with 500 nits of maximum brightness and a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz.
The rest of the features are similar to the Legion Slim 7i and 7 models, with its mechanical keyboard, AI chip, and more. but in this case we have a slightly smaller battery, 80 Wh which makes it lighter; even so, it supports charging up to 140W via USB-C so you can have a full battery in minutes.
New hybrid monitors for gaming and productivity
During this presentation, Lenovo not only showed laptops and desktops, but also presented two innovations in the field of PC monitors. We talk about the Lenovo Legion Y34wz-30 there R45w-30, which offer great multitasking flexibility with PIP/PBP, integrated KVM and Lenovo’s True Split technology, which allows you to split the screen into two independent monitors with a single video input cable.
