Samsung revealed that it would bring the Gemini AI smartphones from Google to Galaxy.
Although I generally like the Samsung Galaxy A56, one of my own pet terminals with the phone is that a long support on the side button (used for the power / wake function) lifts the unloved Bixby assistant from Samsung.
This would be perfectly logical, if it was not the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series exchanged this for the Google Gemini assistant a few months ago.
Now Samsung has announced that he was bringing the same function to his Galaxy series late.
Samsung's Galaxy A Gemini Announcement
“With this update,” explains Samsung in a recent writing room article, “users will be able to take advantage of the more intelligent AI experiences, in particular by launching Gemini, the assistant powered by Google, simply pressing and holding the lateral button”.
Samsung stresses that it took measures to provide more features of its AI (this is a “ brilliant intelligence '' in this case) to more people with the Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G.

Samsung's Ai Select helps you extract information and manipulate text and images on the screen, while reading aloud reads the copy on the screen, provided that you are happy to use the native web browser of Samsung and the stowed voice of Bixby.
However, the main agreement with these last Galaxy has, at least with regard to AI, is really Google Gemini (with Circle To Search). Placing this power under your thumb should make it even more accessible in a pinch.
Samsung says that this new software update will start to deploy global to select Galaxy A Series Models from the beginning of May. Since it checks the name of the Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G earlier in the post, we assume that these last phones will be first.
