The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series has yet to be officially announced, but speculation is already rife about what Samsung could bring to its next generation of flagship tablets.
While there aren't many rumors or leaks yet, based on our Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra reviews, we're trying to make some educated guesses on the potential release date, the price and specifications of the S11 range.
When will the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 be released?
Samsung has always followed a predictable release schedule for its Galaxy Tab S series, with new models typically arriving in the second half of the year.
The Galaxy Tab S10 series launched in October 2024, so it wouldn't be surprising if the Galaxy Tab S11 series debuted around mid-end 2025.

Given the current two-device lineup trend (with a compact option being omitted in the S10 generation), it's possible that Samsung will retain this strategy for the S11 series.
The name can also be changed. First, while the Ultra model is expected to remain the same, the Plus model could become the classic Tab S11.
Second, as was the case with the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S20, the successor to the Galaxy Tab S10 series could be called the Galaxy Tab S20 series.
However, it is also possible that it is the Galaxy Tab S25, to align the name with the Galaxy S25 series.
Expect a now-standard Galaxy Tab S11+ and a larger, feature-rich Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
How much will the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 cost?
Prices of Samsung's flagship tablets are steadily increasing with each new release.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra started at £1,199/$1,199 for the base Wi-Fi model, while the Galaxy Tab S10+ was more affordable at £999/$999.99.

With Samsung's continued advancements in display technology, improved performance, and integration of AI features, it's likely that the Galaxy Tab S11 series will start at similar or slightly higher prices.
The Galaxy Tab S11+ could start at around £1,049/$1,049, while the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra could start closer to £1,299/$1,299 for its base configuration.
What specifications and features will the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 have?
Samsung's Galaxy Tab S11 series is expected to build on the strengths of its predecessors while introducing key upgrades in several categories.
Design
The sleek, durable design of the Galaxy Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra will likely inspire the S11 lineup.
Expect premium materials like Armor Aluminum for the chassis, which is both strong and lightweight, as well as IP68 water and dust resistance.

While the S10 series saw minor improvements in terms of thickness and weight, further reductions in these dimensions could make the Galaxy Tab S11+ even more portable.
Samsung could also introduce new color options.
Display
Samsung's AMOLED displays are at the forefront of the industry, and the Tab S11 series will likely take it further.
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra could sport the same massive 14.6-inch AMOLED panel, with a frequency of 120Hz and a resolution potentially surpassing the current 2960×1848.
The Tab S11+ could continue with a 12.4-inch display, but could see improvements in peak brightness and anti-glare coatings to compete with high-end laptop screens.

The introduction of under-display camera technology or further reductions in the bezel could make these devices even more visually impressive.
Performance
The Galaxy Tab S10 series introduced MediaTek's Dimensity 9300+ chipset, marking a departure from Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors.
For the Galaxy Tab S11 series, Samsung can opt for an upgraded MediaTek chip or go back to Qualcomm with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for tablets.
Either option would ensure exceptional performance for multitasking, gaming, and creative work.
Luc Boulanger
Expect RAM and storage configurations to remain generous, starting at 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage with Micro-SD card support.
Samsung could also explore new cooling solutions to optimize long-lasting performance during heavy use.
Cameras
Tablets aren't traditionally camera-focused devices, but the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra's dual front cameras were a standout feature.
Samsung could refine them further, offering improved sensors and AI enhancements for video calls and content creation.
On the back, a high-quality main camera and an ultra-wide option will likely remain.
Luc Boulanger
Video recording capabilities up to 4K at 30fps could continue to be a selling point, especially for remote workers and creatives.
Battery and charging
Battery life is always essential for tablets, and the Galaxy Tab S11 series is expected to bring incremental improvements.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra's 11,200 mAh battery offered respectable endurance, so the S11 Ultra could offer even greater capacity or efficiency gains through software optimization.
Luc Boulanger
Fast charging up to 45W should return to both models, although the omission of a charger in the box should persist. This trend aligns with Samsung's desire to adopt environmentally friendly packaging.
Software
The Galaxy Tab S11 series will likely run on Samsung's One UI 7, based on Android 15. Improved multitasking features, refined pen integration, and expanded AI capabilities could make the S11 series a productivity powerhouse.
However, it could be One UI 8 and Android 16 if it launches late enough in the year. Either way, expect Samsung to continue with seven years of update support.
Luc Boulanger
That's everything we currently know and expect from the Galaxy Tab S11 series. In the meantime, be sure to check out what Samsung is preparing for the upcoming Galaxy S25 series.
