The renderings of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic Smartwatch have disclosed online, confirming the assertion of Samsung according to which he goes to a new design direction. But is it really “innovative”?
Onleaks and Sammyguru have teamed up to publish a series of detailed CAD renderings for the next Samsung smart watch, which sees the return of the entrance to the beloved rotary telescope (hence the nickname “ classic '').
The most notable, however, is the form of the base of the phone. It takes a form on the rounded square (do not make us say “squirt”) rather than the pure circular shape of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7.

Samsung's not so innovative intelligent watch design
You could say that this is a new daring design for the series, in accordance with the assertion of Samsung that its new generation laptop would include “an innovative design”. This is not quite the case as far as we can see.
Samsung clearly follows the example of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra (photo below) here, which was launched in July 2024. The two smart watches seem very similar, with the exception of this more pronounced circular element on the classic.
We even get the same development of orange with the side button. Indeed, the original relationship speculates that this new classic model could be a spiritual successor to the ultra galaxy Watch, or even direct monitoring.

Other rumor specifications
It has been said that the ordinary Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 will also adopt this new form of tile, so it may be the new standard for the Samsung Smartwatch range now, whatever the model.
Other rumors of specification concerning the classic include a 1.5 inch (always circular) screen, a 450 mAh battery and a 46 mm solitary size option.
We expect to see the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 range announced alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 some time in July.
