Apple continues to push the limits of its operating systems, and with iOS 19 on the horizon, expectations increase.

Below, we explore the expected release date, compatible devices and exciting features that could define iOS 19.
When will iOS 19 be released?
Apple should prevail iOS 19 at its annual global conference for developers (WWDC) in June 2025.
After the announcement, the developers will have early access to test the software, a public beta version which should be deployed later in summer.

However, Apple seems to adopt a more amazing approach to present deployments.
Like iOS 18, where features such as Apple Intelligence have been gradually introduced, all iOS 19 capacities should not be available during the launch.
Some of the most expected updates, such as improved SIRI propelled by language models (LLMS), are likely to make their debut in early 2026, potentially in iOS 19.4.
Mark Gurman suggests that other platforms like macOS or iPados may be priority for major updates, in particular given the bases necessary for innovations, including a Mac based on touch.
