Sony has opened a pre-order subscription for the PlayStation 5 in the US, but the system looks set to disappoint many.
The console doesn’t have a release date or price yet, but Sony allows PlayStation customers with PlayStation Online IDs to request a booking in advance.
But not only did this pre-order order arrive, the winners are not even guaranteed by the previous order console, which says Sony is “limited in quantity.” Sony said the reservation will be offered based on “PlayStation’s past interests and activities
If approved, each invitation will be open for a limited time, and applicants will be allowed more than the price hardware listed below:
- 1C5 console or 1 digital PS5
- 2 DualSense wireless controls
- 2 DualSense charging stations
- 2 Pulse 3D wireless
- 2 social media
- 2 HD cameras
The system will disappoint many who can not get a reservation, and then frustrate those who receive a share but then fail to receive the console if they go to the previous order.
Sony knows that the PS5 will be very popular, so that will confuse some fans if the company chooses to suggest a shortage of consoles.
In addition, given the coronavirus virus, Sony may have no other choice. If the epidemic means that console production has been slow, you will need to switch to delaying strategies such as this booking program to find specific industries that will sell them while the supply is being held on demand.
As we approach the end of 2020, the PS5 will take over the Xbox Series X.
