As a person who tests phones to make a living, I know how important the display is. A large makes it more pleasant, while a sub-stud can quickly ruin the experience.

First of all, I love the Matt coating of the screen (similar to the Xiaomi 7 matt version that we have also seen in the living room), which means that you do not get any of the unpleasant reflections that are common on brilliant screens. Visibility in essentially any environment, including direct sunlight, is not a problem.
Above all, the Matt screen does not prevent the ordinary color mode from providing the rich and vibrant colors that we associate with brilliant screens. The content seems clear and clear, which means it is always a good option for content consumption.

However, these are the other modes that really distinguish TCL phones from the competition. A “color mode” lowers saturation and introduces softer colors for a paper experience. The “ink paper mode” exchanges the colors of black and white, which makes it even easier in your eyes.

It's also great if you are looking to avoid distractions. In the “Max Ink mode”, TCL only allows up to seven third party applications to be available, which makes it great if you need to do concentrated work or if you just want an uninterrupted reading time.
Even if you add Tiktok or Instagram, the applications become much less interesting without all the bright colors in competition for your attention. As a person looking to establish a healthier relationship with their phone, I really like it.
In the settings, you can choose which of the three modes you want to be your main alternative to ordinary color mode. Then you can easily switch to each other by simply tilting the physical “nxtpaper key” on the side of the device.

More than a good screen?
