There are many games that have managed to get a very great renown, so much so that anyone mentioned that the name sounds even if you have never played it. But if we are talking about titles that have managed to transcend to become real classics, the list is not so extensive, and it is clear that there is a fairly clear representative who recently turned 40 years ago, Tetrisa title that will now have a Edición collector.
It is increasingly common that some games have a special edition which allows users to obtain more products in addition to the title itself, although many of those who leave recently generally incorporate only elements in the game , that is to say, these are digital collection editions. But this practice, as strange, seems, is not the only one that is currently because there are also editions which offer various additional articles in a physical way, whether it is the art book or something which manages to represent it. And in the case of Tetris, there is nothing that best represents a console with a retro aesthetic, since the Edición collector of Tetris forever Incorporate this and many others.
40 years later, Tetris will have a game with Collector Edition
For many people, retro games are extremely good titles which are still completely relevant even if they have not been part of a saga that has been updated over the years. Many of those who launched years ago had a fairly simple mechanics since the material of the time, as well as the general technology that existed, did not have the progress which is currently, of course. But it is clear that even if the mechanisms of these games are simple, this does not imply that they do not remain as fun.
This is demonstrated by Tetris, a game that was originally released in 1984 and that today still has millions of fans in the world, being a franchise that has tried to offer new games that continue to have The same premise as the original, even if they are adapted to modern times as a tetris effect. Just as games have been published that are trying to renew their image, some also appeared which are directly trying to relaunch the past, collecting a collection of those who launched years ago so that anyone can play them on new platforms.
And the last game that did this is Tetris foreverA compilation with more than 15 games, a new game and documentaries on its history, which will receive a collector's edition which will arrive in the form of a tetro and include a copy of CD of the soundtra of Tetris Time Warp, magnets, stickers woven , a poster and a portable console inspired by the Game Boy with two versions of the emblematic game. The presale of this edition will start on February 25 and will arrive on the same day as the physical editions of PS5 and Switch on March 31.
