This week, Netflix lets you take the red pill, as The Matrix trilogy will arrive on the streaming giant.
The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions will all arrive on Netflix UK this Saturday December 14 – giving you three alternative action films to binge if you don't want to burn out on festive films.
The films have already been released on Netflix in various countries, including Japan, Finland and Europe. Of course, the streaming giant's library changes regularly, so while they'll be here in the UK from December, it certainly won't be a permanent move – so enjoy it while you have it occasion.
While Netflix UK has a post on all three films confirming their arrival this Saturday, 2021's The Matrix Resurrections will not be available to stream in the library.
The US Netflix library doesn't appear to be showing The Matrix movies arriving this Saturday, and they aren't available for free on any other streaming service. However, if you have a VPN (like NordVPN), you can use it to connect to a UK server and stream The Matrix trilogy when it arrives this Saturday. You can find out more in our guide on how to watch Netflix from abroad.
You can also find out where to buy tickets for Sonic 3, which also stars Keanu Reeves, but this time as Shadow the Hedgehog.
