The Paper House arrived on Antena 3 in May 2017 quite unnoticed, however, Netflix saw something in the story say buy the rights, re-release those first two seasons that aired on Antena 3, and distribute them on its platform in the whole world.
And then came success. And with success, the phenomenon of La casa de papel.
The series has become a global phenomenon being one of the most successful series of all time. So it’s no wonder that after the show’s final season aired in December 2021, the remake and the sequel.
And though many and many see the redone As desperate ways to continue monetizing a product that has worked well (the Money Heist series, in this case), it’s also true that it’s a way to give more to those who have had little taste.

The house of paper, Netflix and Korea seem to be part of a winning equation since, in recent times, Korean series have managed to monopolize quite a bit of success on the platform (see The Squid Game).
When will Money Heist: Korea premiere?
The remake of the series will be released on June 24, 2022, meaning that we have nothing left to enjoy the thrilling plot of Netflix’s most famous heist once again.
And speaking of plot…
Will the plot of The Korean Paper House be the same as the original series?
Yes and no. There will be many identical components, such as characters. We will see Korean versions of The Professor, Tokyo, Rio or Nairobi. However, the story will be different.
The plot will be based on a unified Korea and the thieves will steal the largest amount of stolen money in the history of the Korean peninsula. The silver will be the unified Korean currency, a type of currency that will arise after the end of a war in which the two Koreas have united.
However, in this new (and fictitious, let’s remember) historical reality, the rich took advantage of the new situation (the latter does not look so much like fiction).
The robbers, with the robbery, will have the mission of doing justice by becoming the famous “resistance”.
We don’t know if Bella ciao will be performed in Korean, but we would love to hear it again.

Almost obvious answer, but the “almost” is worth explaining.
La casa de papel remake will be available on Netflix, which means you will need to access a Netflix account to watch the series.
