Although video game consoles always come with their own controllers, most manufacturers offer so-called “Pro” controllers, which significantly improve the usability and versatility of standard controllers (also, for the PCs you know… ). And in this area, the manufacturer Scuf has always stood out for the quality and excellence of its orders, and it is not in vain that every time it launches a new model on the market, it is usually out of stock within a few hours. Luckily, one of their top-rated controllers is back in stock and they've also put it on sale on Amazon for a limited time.
We refer to the Scuf InstinctProa controller designed for Xbox consoles (and for PC, of course) that adds a series of very interesting features, and which we have already analyzed on this site and awarded it our Platinum award (you can see the review here).
Why is the Scuf Instinct Pro so good?
We are looking for a controller with the same design that gives just as good results (especially in terms of ergonomics) of the Xbox consoles, but which has a series of additions that are precisely what makes it a Pro controller. For example, the simple. the fact of having no less than 22 buttons (4 additional configurable buttons) already gives a much appreciated additional versatility, since for example in the titles like a soul Many times it gets very uncomfortable having to walk while holding down the B button to run while you move, and having it on a lever underneath makes it much more comfortable.
But that's not all. The Scuf Instinct Pro also allows you to have multiple profiles (three in particular) and has a dedicated button for switching profiles, so that if you play different types of games you can save the settings for each one. them. Because also, remember, not only are the four additional buttons configurable but the entire controller is configurable: if you don't like the assignments that the games have by default, you can always modify them to your liking.
The controller lets you play both wired and Bluetooth, and has a removable front housing that also lets you customize its appearance. The joysticks are also interchangeable, allowing us to choose between concave or convex shapes, as well as modify their height for different types of games. For example, in a driving game, you want the levers to be higher to have greater sensitivity when accelerating and cornering.
On the other hand, the triggers are also configurable in the sense that, with a simple lever, we can configure them so that instead of being potentiometers (the more you press, the more it accelerates for example) they are instantaneous, for that no matter how much you press it, you tighten, as soon as you do, it's 100%.
Offer price and availability
As we said at the start, Scuf controllers tend to “steal” as soon as they go on sale, and like good Pro controllers, they aren't exactly cheap. Currently they have stock on Amazon Europe and they sell it with a 17% discount compared to the price of the manufacturer's online store. So not only is it a good opportunity to get one of the highest rated controls on the market. , but you can also do it by saving a little money.
