Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few decades, you're probably familiar with The Witcherthe favorite fantasy franchise of many that tells the adventures of Geralt of Rivia. The best thing about this saga is that it has maintained a level of quality quite high.

The best adventures of Geralt of Rivia

So since the third opus of the saga will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2025, we wanted to revisit the five best video games of this franchise, including the multiple extensions that it has known throughout its history and taking as a reference its rating in Metacritic. And now, with that said, we can start with the list.

5. Thronebreaker: The Witcher's Tales

We start this list with one of the few fallout those on whom the saga counted. This episode combined a story set in the same universe as the main saga with a turn-based card game in the purest style of Hearth. It's a very good complement to the main saga which has a rating of 85 on Metacritic.

4. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

It was the second book the one responsible for transforming the franchise into what we know today, by relying heavily on action in abundance, a deeper story and a very cinematic feel. While many of us love the third game, we shouldn't detract from the second, especially with an 88 rating on Metacritic.

3. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Hearts of Stone

We start with the extensions of The Witcher 3and this game had some of the best DLC of the last decade. In the case of this expansion, it is about expanding the universe of this game, paying particular attention to clever Gaunter O'Dimm. If you haven't played it, we recommend it. It has a score of 91 on Metacritic. Not bad.

2. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine

The most famous extension of Wild Hunt It's not only the best DLC in the franchise, but also some of the best content in this franchise. Not only does it include some of the most charismatic characters and missions the most popular, but also includes a new area to explore, All Saints. It has a rating of 92 out of 100 on Metacritic.

1. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Obviously the third solo adventure of Geralt of Rivia I had to be in first position. It contains, to say just a few, one of the best stories of this century, some of the characters the most iconic you can find or a vast world full of life. It's no surprise that it has a score of 92 on Metacritic.

And you? What is your favorite game The Witcher?
