They send their HP laptop for repair and find something surreal

find, Laptop, repair, send, surreal

The cover of laptops is normally plain plastic. This allows the notebook to be lighter, but at the same time it offers less resistance to small daily shocks. Several users have sent their hp laptop repair their structure, but they found a strange thing.

It is not very common to request the repair of the structure of the laptop, unless it has significant damage. The usual thing is to tape it over or fix it in a rather homemade way. If you’ve suffered noticeable damage, especially to the display hinge, it makes perfect sense to request a repair.

Dispose of Unsold Laptop Leftovers

Multiple users with hp laptops they sent to Official technical service their equipment for repair. According to users, their laptops had structural damage that did not affect the hardware. So they decided to pay for the company to repair the damage to their equipment.

It seems that several customers made this request in February (we do not know the exact number). all would have HP Laptops 2019, so they are quite recent. These would have pperformance 1100 yuan, approximately 150 euro to be changed by changing the crankcase. Customers have received their repaired hardware and so far nothing remarkable.

One of the users decided remove typical stickers which are added to laptop, because they were worthless and bothered him or he simply wanted to delete them. When you try to remove one of these stickers, part of the new laptop cover has come off, showing something curious.

Apparently HP has reached a vinyl (bad quality) on a wooden panel used to repair the laptop. This caught the attention of users who wondered if it was just their thing or if someone else had happened to them. Apparently, there are several brand clients with this type of arrangement.

It looks like the tech department pulled parts from an old laptop that you probably don’t remember. In 2009, the Wood of envy HP, where the wrist rest was made from a single piece of natural nogal. It was not far from the rest of the laptops of the same range, only in this sense.

Everything indicates an excess of spare parts or that the laptops did not sell well and are used for parts.

HP response to this event

to summarize. My laptop case is broken and I am asking for it to be repaired. They change it and apparently my laptop comes back with the new case. I’m going to remove the stickers and tear off some shabby metallic looking vinyl and find a natural walnut veneer.

I imagine that none of the users complained, because they received a good quality product which would involve an additional cost for the laptop. But HP’s response to all of this is, admittedly, quite surreal.

In the comments box, the company said that they will have tech support reach out to them. The logical thing would be to say that we had excess stock and they were “gratified” with this improvement. I don’t think anyone would mind receiving a fashionable finish instead of plastic.

Admittedly, this is a rather unusual situation that suggests that premium products are sometimes good for marketing but do not interest people.
