Cleaning your oven is just about the worst way to spend what seems like endless time. And that’s one of the reasons we love air fryers. With their non-stick cooking surfaces, they are SO much faster and easier to clean.
What if you barely had to clean them?
That’s where air fryer liners come in. Put one of these bad boys in the bottom of your cooking drawer and when your food is cooked, take it out and throw it away. No, it’s not as eco-friendly as using nothing at all, but parchment paper bags aren’t the worst kind of waste and, plus, you won’t have to worry about oil clogging your sink while you wash the dishes.
If you’re in the UK, Amazon has over 1/3 parchment air fryer liners, which are a perfect size for a two-drawer Ninja air fryer. 100 of these would usually cost you £12.95, but you can currently buy them for £7.95, meaning they cost less than 8p each.
Air fryer liners generally come in two types: parchment and silicone. The advantage of these is that they are reusable but that means you have to wash them, and we are all about easy solutions. Parchment is also the best addition to an air fryer because it won’t block hot air from circulating around your food the same way thicker silicone liners will.
However, parchment liners also have some disadvantages. You need to make sure that the paper does not touch the heating coil and that the grease in your food cannot flow under the crisper.
We’ve also found a deal on the silicone liners, which are currently 15% off, from £6.99 to £5.94 for two. Or, you can browse all air fryer liners on Amazon.
The US deal isn’t as good, but you can buy 100 parchment paper liners for a two-drawer air fryer for $11.99, down from $13.05, so they’re less than 12¢ each.
