Meta has just announced an important update of the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.
In a new blog article on her official website, Meta described some interesting developments around her Ray-Ban glasses, including new framework options and new features improved by AI.
The most interesting news here concerns a series of new features to come in Ray-Ban meta-lunes.
After appearing in early access in certain countries, live translation is now deployed to all users. This allows you to lead transparent conversations between four languages: English, French, Italian and Spanish.
What is impressive is that all this works available, without any network connectivity required.
As long as you have downloaded the language pack required in advance, you will hear what the other person says in your chosen language in real time. In turn, they will be able to see what you say in their language on your phone.

New messaging and music options
Another new feature is the possibility of sending messages, photos, audio calls and video calls via Instagram from your Ray-Ban meta-lunes, all using a natural “Hey Meta” demand.
It is already possible to make calls and send messages via WhatsApp and Messenger, as well as send text messages.
Access to musical applications also develops outside the United States and Canada, taking Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music and Shazam. Just ask Meta I have to start playing music or for information about what is playing.
To come soon – in the United States and Canada at least – is Meta IA's ability to see precisely what you see, and so that you then hold a conversation on what is before you. Meta uses the example of asking Meta to identify a viable substitute for butter in your refrigerator, or an appropriate wines agreement from a glance at your wine record.
Meta IA also arrives in more EU countries, while the possibility for you to ask Meta Ai on things in your line of view comes to the EU next week after hitting the United Kingdom last month.

A Meta Ray-Ban series is also a series of Skyler Freshler color options and lens, including the Crayers Skyler Shiny Gâlies with sapphire transition lenses.
There is also the Skyler Shiny Black with green or clear G15 lenses.
Overall, Meta's glasses seem to become (and look) more and more intelligent.
