We already know the release date and price of the AMD RX 7600 XT

AMD, date, price, release

And the rivalry in this market is strong, and if they want to gain a foothold there, the cost/power ratio must be better than other brands, or at least similar. Hence the price that we will see below, which can clearly tip the scales to one side.

Everything about the AMD RX 7600 XT

The new AMD model improves its predecessor, the RX 7600, by increasing its performance and power, while remaining below the 7700 XT, as is logical. It would be a Mid-high-end GPU who wants to compete in a very interesting market, where this type of cards is in high demand and, therefore, the final price adjusted to its performance encourages the user to opt for one brand or another.

Apparently the new AMD model will be available at the end of January, so you could say we have about a month left to get one. And its price? GOOD it would be around 300 dollars. That would mean it would be 20-25% more expensive than the RX 7600, and given that its power, while better, won’t be that great in percentage terms… you could say that doesn’t seem not like a great opportunity, despite 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, double the previous one.

Furthermore, during the first days of January, at CES in Las Vegas, and therefore in front of AMD, Nvidia also plans to present its RTX 40 SUPERof which we will see several models and which seem to have a better quality-price ratio than that of AMD, a company that will only show us the RX 7600 XT, and what’s more it seems that it will not be a good deal.

In summary, while it’s not an unreasonable price, we have a new and improved graphics, which wouldn’t be up to par with the best in terms of cost and, barring any surprises in terms of power or change in price, we don’t I don’t believe it will succeed, although that doesn’t mean it will be a failure, but rather something standard. Unlike the previous generation, where these XT versions were the most sold, due to their cost, close to $200, and with high price competition, they managed to be number one in sales, however, it seems that now it will be the same, unless we are completely wrong.

The RX 6950 XT closes the door

It’s likely that AMD wants to release it now, to focus on the RX8000, leaving aside this generation, which has very little left. So I wouldn’t think of wasting much more time on this.

And you, what do you think of this RX 7600 XT? Do you think it’s worth the extra cost for the improved performance? Are there better options from other brands? Leave us a comment with your opinion.
