Samsung seems to prepare for its next update of the SmartWatch watch in the main Galaxy watch, an UI 7 watch based on Wear OS 6, but there are signs that Google Assistant will not be part of the package.
According to a post X (formerly Twitter) of the Tipster Alfatürk, the signs of the first UI Watch 7.0 Beta appeared on the Samsung servers under the construction number L310xxu1zyda.
There is no additional information on what this new version of the Samsung portable user interface could contain. These are the beginnings, after all, with a single user interface 6, Lapage with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 in July of last year.
Wear OS 6, on which an UI 7.0 watch will be based, should make its debut later this year on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8, followed a few months later by the Google Pixel Watch 4.
More Gemini, less assistant
Although we do not know what are Samsung's plans with One UI 7 Watch, we had an indication of the objective of OS 6 underlying wear, on which Google and Samsung will work in close collaboration.
Previous reports have suggested that Google seeks to eliminate its Google assistant for the next version of Wear OS, with Gemini who should take its place. You can bet that Samsung will follow suit with its own modified version of the operating system.
Indeed, Google may have already started this process, with the news (via 9TO5google) that the assistant application was updated on the Google Play Store.

Although there are no radical modifications here, Google has changed the two complications to delete any mention of the assistant as their own distinct entity. The assistant complication is now simply called “Google”, with the Google Signature Assistant logo replaced by a Sparkle generic icon.
Meanwhile, the assistant's designation was also deleted from the complication at a glance, the logo replaced by the classic Google 'G'.
There is obviously a general effort here to increase the Google assistant of the operating system user experience – apparently ahead of the next version which leaves it completely in favor of the assistant Gemini AI. Do not be surprised if the next smart watches from Samsung and Google go everything with Gemini.
