Surely the most important year of Cyberpunk 2077 It was the past, 2023, because it represented the update of a game that arrived as it arrived at the end of 2020: with a disastrous PlayStation version, numerous bugs and, worse still, without being what its creators would have wanted in due to failure to advance delivery times which, it later turned out, could not be respected. It was therefore necessary to wait until the end of last year for CD Projekt RED to really settle accounts with its public.
Cyberpunk 2077 patch 2.0 is already complete

So it will be this afternoon that we will know what we can expect from the next big patch of Cyberpunk 2077 after 2.0 in 2023. It will be 2.2 and it is not known if it simply brings technical and visual improvements, or if they will also impact the gameplay with new content or changes with an additional mode. Regardless, it's appreciable that after four years on the market, they continue to reward those who trusted them and didn't turn their backs on them despite initial problems.
And while The Witcher 4 on the horizon
The thing is, all this extra work is happening a few weeks after the announcement that the game has sold over 30 million unitswhich is a success, and that a good part of its production force is already focused on The Witcher 4. Which we cannot expect to launch soon and, if we have to bet on a year, we would do it for 2026 and even 2027 (already looking for a PC game by then?).
