1000xresist review – a game that will remain and remain

1000xRESIST, game, remain, Review

It is difficult to fulfill 1000xresist justice by describing its basic attributes. His complicated Worldbuilding seems to be involved, his simple gameplay seems to be boring, and his ambition to deal with so many serious narrative topics seems more than the developer -Sunset bites than it can chew. But the magic of 1000xresist is not in what the game achieves. It is in the fact that this happens with breathtaking finesse. The world and their characters are unique and fascinating, the basic gameplay leaves space for thousands of brilliant dialogue, and the topics are examined in a way that redesigned the way I think about stories and their effects on the modern world. Despite the minor mistake, 1000x resist has established itself as one of the most groundbreaking stories in the history of the video games.

Watcher is the protagonist of this adventure game of the third person. It is one of many “sisters” in a futuristic, remote society of cloning that live in a room called Obstgarten. Through a number of communities, you and your sisters deal with the memories of Iris, the teenager from whom you all cloned to learn more about your life before the present time. Each of the main characters of the game – knowing, healer, bang bang bang fire, fixer and principal – complement the observer differently. Regardless of whether you encourage your curiosity about the past, challenge your loyalty to the omno or your feeling of morality, every relationship is rich and complicated, and I was looking forward to spending time with you in new chapters.

In the meantime, the communions enable observers and their sisters to observe the past (roughly the real world in the early 2020s), either by observing iris' behavior from a distance or by seeing the world through their eyes. Despite the science fiction traps, Iris' relationships with her parents, her friend Jiao and the rest of the world are grounded and human, and the more we learn about iris, the more I appreciate their imperfections and difficult decisions.

If there is a word that summarizes why 1000X resist is so effective, it is “error”. Each character is only faulty enough to make them realistic and understandable, be it anger, fear, fear, arrogant nature or something else. Because you can always empathize with the other side, every relationship and every greater strike nuance are made possible, which captures the story, is heartbreaking and wonderfully complicated. As a result, when 1000x resist deals with topics with generation trauma, oppression, immigration, memory and femininity, this creates one of the thoughtful stories that I have ever experienced in a video game or in any other way.

The game is mostly dialogue that is lovingly written and performed passionately. The realistic, pointed language patterns of Iris and their family contrast the floral robot language of the clone society. Although phrases such as “Hekki Allmo” and “Hair to Hair” are initially disoriented, 1000xresist gives the player a reasonable time and context to flow his aphorisms, and lines that scratched my head in the intro in the intro, only torn me open with tears a few hours later. These emotions can be attributed to the remarkable voice card of the game, which is reserved and powerful. Although most actors have almost no predictions, there is no weak link in the line -up, and Jing Fang and Aliyah Rayner's representations of knowing and iris are outstanding performances.

If you do not look at cutscenes and click through the dialog options – although this is the majority of the game – you can explore the orchard and speak to the other clones living there. Although I am technically optional, I was really looking forward to entertaining with as many NPCs between every communion as possible, since they provide valuable explanations and alternative perspectives for the events of the game that can normally only be seen in a specific chapter. Nevertheless, the orchard is miserable, and although a post-start update has added a card, it is still frustrating to navigate. Although many areas look easily accessible, they often require specific stairs or unintuitive inputs that force you to circle the entire area scheme, and repeatedly pause to check the card to ensure that you do not miss a curve. The story is so committed and immersive that I have often been lost in your twists for hours, just to be violently expelled from this immersion as soon as I returned to the orchard.

Technical problems also impaired my experience. While the game is available on switch and PC, my experience when playing the game on the former console was less than ideal. Textures can be pixelated, the loading times are lengthy, and I have experienced half a dozen accidents for about 14 hours of play, many of which were in the orchard. Since these problems are not available on the PC and the graphics on this platform are generally improved, I would recommend playing them there.

Nevertheless, the Switch Port did little to suppress my enjoyment of this game. 1000xresist is really a unique experience, and since then my appreciation for your world and her characters has only strengthened. A recurring line of the game, which I think about, have the idea that “there is one, it remains and remains”, be it in their descendants or in their clones, their effects on the world or simply in memories. I hope that 1000X resist will inspire sequels, successors or imitators, but there is certainly a bright memory in my head. A story that remains and remains.
